Brother Jeff Choi '13 recently was chosen to receive the John S. Dyson Citizenship Award at the annual A.D. White Leadership Conference. According to the Office of the Dean of Students, "the award is given annually as a part of the A.D. White Leadership Conference to a student within the Cornell University fraternity and sorority community who has exemplified exceptional leadership within the Greek community, and who has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, philanthropy, scholarship, and citizenship." Jeff certainly fits all of the aforementioned criteria. Choi is a leader both within SigEp and outside. He has led the fraternity as the Balanced Man Scholarship Chairperson and has proven himself invaluable during the recruitment process. His involvement on campus includes being the former VP and incoming President of the Cornell Disability Services Team, the former VP of internal operations for Cornell DECA, pledge class president of Phi Gamma Nu professional business fraternity, a TA in biochemistry, and 5 years of research experience in Dr. Bruce Ritchie's lab. Please join me in congratulating Brother Choi on his many accomplishments.
